Pink Warrior Advocates is committed to offering emotional support to those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Our founder, Jen Reynolds decided to attend a "support group" after getting diagnosed but she was the only person that showed up to the session. Jen recognized the need for support from people who understood what she was going through. With the help of Jen's dear friend, fellow breast cancer warrior, and at the time Pink Warrior Advocates' Treasurer, Stacy Gonzales, the two of them launched the first TV Thursday in September of 2019.

TV Thursday stands for "Trust and Vulnerability through breast cancer diagnosis" and meets every fourth Thursday of each month. TV Thursday is not a typical "support group," these meet-ups foster friendship and allow individuals to have a safe space to discuss REAL topics. Our goal is to make sure that our warriors feel understood, supported, and ultimately empowered. The stories that are shared help give hope to other warriors and enable them to find purpose in their diagnosis.

We know attending a group for the first time can be intimidating so we invite you to bring a co-survior with you, this could be your spouse, parent, sibling, or friend! They could probably use the emotional support and camaraderie that is shared with other co-survivors as well.
